TA introduces academy

The Thornton Academy Alumni Board is collaborating with TA faculty for a series of enrichment courses to be offered at Thornton Academy for alumni and community members. The first four courses in the Alumni Academy will be presented in March. Attend one or attend them all. Each class will be held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and are $10 per class. Registration is limited to 20 people per class.

Alumni Academy courses:

 March 3: Unearthing Answers in Arctic Science (Instructor: Dan Frost)

 March 10: Current Issues in Human Geography (Instructor: Mike Nelson and Tom Rackmales)

 March 24: Fun With Chemistry (Instructors: Teri Arenstam and Dick Parker)

 March 31: Shakers Studies (Instructor: Lloyd Hunt)
