Terry L. von Salza Brown

Terry L. von Salza Brown, 64, of Saco, went home to the Lord on Friday March 11, 2016.

She was born, Nov. 29, 1951, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Marilyn Schmieding Hanson.

She attended local schools and received an Associate’s

Degree from

DeAnza College in Cupertino,

California.

Terry was employed first by Diamond

Shamrock Corp for 10 years. She then worked for National

Semiconductor

Corp. for 10 years and most recently for

Speech Pathology

Associates with product. their Chewy Tubes

Terry’s Christian faith was of greatest importance for her and she was an active member of Galilee Baptist Church in Gorham.

Terry was a Longaberger Basket Consultant for the Saco area.

She was very involved in the Saco Maine Grand Old Party (GOP) and a member of the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Chapter of the Pine Tree Quilt Guild of Maine. Terry enjoyed making quilts and they were proudly displayed at her home.

Survivors include her husband Richard of Saco, a son, Ken Hensel of Columbia, Missouri, and a daughter, Katie von Salza Brown of Saco, and two sisters Peggy Hanson and Karen Conshafter and her husband Rick, two grandchildren, Dylan and Hannah Hensel.

Friends and relatives can attend a memorial service for Terry at Galilee Baptist Church, 317 Main St., Gorham, that will be scheduled in the near future.
