Concert to benefit drug use, human trafficking

Keeping Kids Safe will hold a benefit concert 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at The Ballpark in Old Orchard Beach to raise awareness and funds to combat human trafficking and heroin use.

Funds will benefit Keeping Kids Safe, St. Andre’s Home for sex trafficking victims and Operation HOPE through Project GRACE.

Operation HOPE, a new initiative of the Scarborough Police Department, was started to reduce the impact of heroin and opiate abuse on the community by encouraging those who experience addiction to seek help and experience recovery.
