Dyer Library seeks donations for annual yard sale

The friends and staff of Dyer Library and Saco Museum will host its fourth annual Colossal Yard Sale 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 18 on the lawn of the library and museum at 371 Main St., Saco, with a rain date of Saturday, June 25. All proceeds benefit library and museum programs.

Donate gently used, family friendly goods for the sale; no cribs, car seats, strollers, mattresses, upholstered furniture, electronics, large appliances or clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the library during regular hours beginning Monday, June 13. Raffle tickets will be sold for a Kindle. Homemade goodies and lemonade will be available.

In addition, folks can rent a 10-by-10 foot space to sell their own wares – art, crafts, collectibles, yard sale leftovers. The cost is $15; bring your own table.

Volunteers are also needed to sort and price items, set up in the morning and work at the sale, and to clean up after the event.

For more information on donating, volunteering or renting space, contact Nancy Tripp at ntripp@maine. rr.com, or drop by the circulation desk at the library.
