Well deserved

The Monarch Center in Saco held a grand opening at the beginning of the month for Assisted Living Week, where participants celebrated not only assisted living communities but also the first responders who support them everyday and the First Responders and families whose lives will forever be impacted by the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Joining the celebration were representatives from city hall, Saco MainStreet and the city’s police and fire departments. Fernleaf Bakery contributed to the event and Armand Tardiff did a blessing. From left, Capt. Vincent Pelletier, Deputy Chief Raynald Demers, firefighter Benjamin Jerome, firefighter Marc Martin, firefighter Mark Kelly, firefighter Frank Lee, Det. Jeff Cook, Sgt. Christopher Hardiman and Deputy Chief Corey Huntress.
