Lucky Pup Rescue

It’s heartbreaking when a dog has had a tough past and it has made it too difficult for them to live with other animals. Crosby is one of those dogs. He was found living in a duck blind in rural Arkansas. He was alone and fending for himself, and maybe had to fight to survive against other animals, or just never learned proper behavior with other pets. He has lived with other animals in the past but he is too stressed in that situation and lashes out when they are in his personal space. Lucky Pup Rescue needs a new foster (and of course a forever home) for Crosby so that he can be safe. He is a lover with humans. He will sleep on his humans or next to them but will also play and be a silly goof. This is a precious boy. Lucky Pup has just a short time to move him along and he needs a place with no other animals. It’s important to know that Crosby is not reactive in the sense that he can’t pass other dogs on the street or see them from a distance. He will happily ignore them or even greet them appropriately on leash. He just can’t live with them. When another dog tries to play he takes that the wrong way. Cats are a big no for him. Help Lucky Pup network for Crosby. For more information, contact the rescue at luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
