Seniors to take survey

The city of Biddeford is part of the Age Friendly Community Network with AARP and is conducting a survey of Biddeford residents. the Biddeford Age Friendly Community Committee is leading the effort. The survey focuses on aspects of the community that are important for the health and well-being of older residents. It also explores what might help older residents age in place or age in the community.

The city was awarded a grant from AARP to conduct the survey and develop a plan. To take the survey, visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/agebiddeford. Survey results will be used to determine needs within the community that will be incorporated into a plan. A plan is instrumental in seeking grants and resources for turning these needs into real projects. Two focus groups will be held to review the survey data and the draft plan.
