Priscilla T. (Beaupre) Tkatch

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many, Priscilla T. (Beaupre) Tkatch of Central Square, New York, passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at Hospice Atlanta in Georgia, from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Born Sept. 9, 1942, in Biddeford, Maine, she is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Jeanne (Corriveau) Beaupre, of Biddeford.

Priscilla, (also known as “PT” and “Pris”) grew up in Biddeford where she graduated from the St. Andre’s Parochial School. After high school, she worked in her father’s business, Beaupre Furniture & Appliance Co., where she met her future husband John Tkatch, who was attending St. Francis College.

Priscilla married John on Nov. 13, 1965, and were happily married for 51 years. John and Priscilla owned and operated a clothing business for over 30 years until John retired. Priscilla began her second career at Chico’s, where she worked as assistant manager and sales associate. Priscilla was always full of energy, laughter, and love. Her smile was both contagious and lit up the room. She had a tremendous sense of humor, was a hard worker, faithful to her church, and loved her family and friends dearly. She left an impact on everyone she met and will be missed dearly.

Priscilla is survived by her spouse, who is now living in Dunwoody, Georgia, with their daughter Chrissa, husband Gary, and grandson Jonathan Hammond; brothers Roger Beaupre and Michael Beaupre both of Biddeford and several nieces and nephews

A memorial service will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Central Square, New York, on Nov. 4, at 9:30 a.m., with a reception for family and friends immediately following the Mass. Committal services will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford, at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, an organization dedicated to fighting Pancreatic Cancer.

Barbara Gerrish

Barbara Libby Haley Gerrish, age 101, of Venice, Florida passed away on Oct. 10, 2017. She was born on May 11, 1916 in East Rochester, New Hampshire. She was a former resident of Rochester, New Hampshire and Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport until she moved to Venice in 1972.

Barbara was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Venice, Life member of HAV and she received a pin representing that she volunteered with the hospital for over 9,000 hours, garden club in New Hampshire, Maine and Venice, Rebecca Lodge, Knitting & Sewing for Shrine Children’s Burn Center, Eastern Star, Mary Torr DARR, Venice Chapter DAR, Venice Yacht Club member for 24 years. She loved art and showed her paintings at the Venice Art League.

Barbara is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sarah H. Gerrish and two great-grandsons, Liam M. Connolly, Logan E. Connolly all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph W. Gerrish, Sr., a son, Randolph W. Gerrish, Jr., a sister, Edwina H. Clark and a granddaughter, Tamara L. Connolly. There are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 513 Nassau Street South, Venice, Florida 34285.
