Taking action

Members of the Faith in Action Team at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Saco and Biddeford installed a little free pantry in November at its location on 60 School St. in Saco. Church members and neighbors donated food to the small cupboard to help those struggling with food insecurity. Members also plan to keep the pantry stocked with toiletries, school supplies, hats, socks and mittens. Church member Jim Howard helped construct the pantry.
