Festival winners announced

The Dyer Library and Saco Museum announced winners of the People’s Choice, Students’ Choice, and Student Art Contest for Winter Celebrations, the 13th annual Festival of Trees. Festival of Trees is a community event to benefit the programs of Dyer Library/Saco Museum and visitors were encouraged to vote for their favorite trees.

The top People’s Choice award went to Winter Solstice, which is festooned with an array of woodland creatures. Winter Solstice was sponsored by Biddeford Savings Bank and decorated by Diane Lockhart. The Student’s Choice award went to Pokemon, which was sponsored and decorated by Living Innovations. The Students’ Choice award is chosen by area students who come to the museum for guided tours.
