Lucky Pup Rescue

Maggie is a 1-year-old cattle dog, possibly a mix; she is so teeny, only about 25 pounds. She has come back into rescue because she is a little too anxious being an only dog. She was wonderful in foster with other dogs and she loves spending time at day care with her dog buddies. She definitely has herding tendencies, so a new family will have to make sure to give her exercise for her smart brain as well as her body. Cattle dogs are by no means couch potatoes and a potential adopter should read up on herding dogs and doggy sports. She can be nervous at first meeting new people but she is working on her comfort level with her foster family. She is wonderful with the dogs in her current foster home and she is learning about cats. For more information, visit www.luckypuprescue.org.
