Brain power




The University of New England in Biddeford hosted its annual Brain Fair Friday, April 6, featuring hands-on activities for children of all ages. It offered sheep brain dissection, optical illusions, muscle stimulation, free helmet sizing and giveaways and crafts that celebrated the brain. The event was part of the university’s Brain Awareness Week and was facilitated by staff, students and volunteers. Left, 6-year-old Aubriana Bennett of Sumner dissects a sheep brain.
