Free meals provided

The Saco School Nutrition Program is participating in a free summer meal program June 25 through Aug. 10. Meals will be provided to all children from birth to 18. No paperwork is required. All children need to do is show up at meal times. Menus may be found at www.sacoschools.org.

Meals will be provided at the following sites: Fairfield School, C.K. Burns School, and Saco Community Center. Breakfast is 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., lunch is 11 a.m. to noon. Meals also hosted at First Parish Congregational Church, 12 Beach St., Saco: breakfast 8:30 to 9 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon. Young School meals (July 10 through Aug. 3): Breakfast 8 to 8:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon. Ledges Housing Complex, 1500 Ledgewood Terrace: breakfast 8:30 to 9 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Meal sites will be closed July 2, 3 and 4.

Biddeford School Nutrition Department, aloƄng with funds from the USDA Summer Food Service Program, will also offer a summer meal program over the same time. The meals will be free for children 18 and younger and $3 for adults. Breakfast and lunch must be consumed while at the various community locations and will consist of a protein, whole grain bread or pasta, vegetable, fruit and milk.

Locations include: Biddeford Middle School, 25 Tiger Way, breakfast 8 to 8:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon. JFK Kindergarten Center, 64 West St.: breakfast 8 to 8:30 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon. McArthur Library, 270 Main St.: lunch 11:30 a.m. to noon. Community Bicycle Center, 45 Granite St.: Lunch 12:15 to 12:30 p.m.
