During the campaign, customers and community members are encouraged to drop off donations at any Biddeford Savings branch location and additional funds are raised through employee jeans days.

This year, the campaign, which began in mid-June and ran through mid-July, resulted in the bank, customers, employees and community members banding together to raise $3,000 for the Animal Welfare Society and an abundance of pet supplies, such as food, cat litter, toys and treats.

“We love partnering with Biddeford Savings for their Furry Friends campaign,” said Courtney Holub, development associate of the Animal Welfare Society. “We’re grateful for everything the bank and their customers do for our furry friends and we’re thrilled to see how much the campaign grows each year.”
