Candidate will work for seniors in community

To the editor:

As a resident of Old Orchard Beach, where we have an increasingly aging population, I am writing to support Lori Gramlich for the state Legislature representing our town. Lori has been working her entire life advocating for others who need to have their voices heard – particularly our seniors. She began her career working in adult care facilities, and more recently worked as an advocate in Augusta helping to pass important legislation that would aid seniors with affordable prescription medications.

As Mainers are living longer, more engaged lives, Lori understands the importance of insuring our residents are able to live out their lives in their own homes, or at least in their communities, connected to important social networks and she will find solutions that will help our seniors in OOB.

There are many challenges facing us in our town and in our state. I have observed Lori to be a thoughtful, compassionate listener who is determined to make a difference and to stand up for others, which will positively impact all of OOB.

Please join me in voting for Lori Gramlich on Nov. 6.
