Tickets available for York County Mini Maker Faire

Free tickets are available to the first-ever York County Mini Maker Faire, produced by Biddefordbased arts organization Engine, to be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Pepperell Mill Campus, 40 Main St., in downtown Biddeford.

More than 60 makers will demonstrate their work. There will be mini drone races, robotics, virtual reality, artists, maker spaces, soldering, blacksmithing, ceramics, vermiculture, pasta-making and performance art, juggling, circus, dance and music. The headline performance is The EepyBird and the Coke and Mentos Experiments. Register for tickets at https://yorkcounty.makerfaire.com/tickets/.

The York County Mini Maker Faire joins a group of more than 190 smaller, independently produced “Mini Maker Faires” and more than 30 larger-scale Featured Maker Faires that take place around the world in cities including Tokyo, Rome, Shenzhen, Taipei, Seoul, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Detroit, San Diego, Milwaukee and Kansas City. The event is produced by Engine, a nonprofit arts organization in Biddeford, Maine.
