Wastewater Superintendent Christopher White said the wastewater treatment department received a new storage shed at the end of 2016. The building cost $400,000 and wastewater staff helped finish the electrical wiring to save money. The department previously used an old sludge holding tank built in the early 1960s that White said had never met the needs of staff. The old storage building is expected to be demolished by the end of September. (Grant McPherson photos) 12p1.jpg
